Yarn Production Process
Spinning Process
It mainly consists of five core procedures: opening, carding, drafting, twisting, and winding.
Opening: It involves loosening compacted fiber raw materials into small pieces.
Carding: This process aligns fibers in a parallel and straight manner while removing short fibers and impurities.
Drafting: It gradually thins fiber bundles and improves their orientation.
Twisting: It endows yarn with strength, elasticity, and wear resistance.
Winding: This step winds the yarn into a specific shape.
Post-treatment Technology
It includes heat setting treatment, softening finishing technology, sizing and desizing processes, etc. These technologies can improve yarn performance, enhancing its strength, luster, durability, and other properties.
Application Fields
Apparel Field
The fineness, twist, and material of yarn determine the physical properties of fabrics such as strength, elasticity, and air permeability, which in turn affect the comfort and appearance of clothing.
Technical Textiles Field
High-performance yarns are widely used in fields such as medical care, construction, and transportation. Examples include surgical sutures, bulletproof vests, and tire cord fabrics.
