1. Adhesive wear, many of which are newly replaced friction plates. When the friction material on the surface rubs against the dual material, the uneven points on the surface of the friction material squeeze and collide with each other, resulting in local overheating and softening and shearing falling off, peeling off the surface, causing adhesive wear.

2. Cutting and abrasive wear, when the hardness of the two surfaces rubbing against each other is quite different, during the friction process, the bumps on the surface of the harder material will be pressed into the surface of the softer material, and the softer side will be severely worn . Obviously, if the friction material and the counterpart are too soft, cutting and abrasive wear will easily occur.

3. Fatigue wear, the adhesion between resin and reinforcing agent is an important factor of surface fatigue performance, and normal fatigue is caused by the destruction of the adhesion between resin and reinforcing agent at stress points. With further damage, the resin will become powder and the bonding will be lost, resulting in increased wear and destruction of the friction material.

4. Thermal wear is the material loss caused by the oxidation or thermal decomposition of organic matter due to frictional heat generation.
