The specific classification of brakes(二)
Four, ribbon brake
1. Composition: brake wheel, brake belt and lever.
2. Working principle: The brake wheel is connected with the shaft by a flat key, and a brake steel belt lined with rubber (or asbestos, leather, canvas) material is wrapped on the outer circumference of the brake wheel. When the lever is acted on by external force, the brake belt is tightened, and the friction between the brake belt and the brake wheel is used to realize the brake on the shaft.
3. Features: simple structure, good braking effect, easy to adjust, single wear uneven, poor heat dissipation.
Five, internal expansion brake
1. Composition: two brake shoes are hinged with the frame through two pin shafts respectively. The surface of brake shoes is equipped with friction plate, and the brake wheel is firmly connected with the shaft that needs braking.
2. Working principle: When braking, the pump generates thrust to overcome the spring force so that the brake shoe presses the brake wheel, so that the brake wheel (or shaft) braking.
3 Application: The compact structure of the brake is widely used in a variety of vehicles and structure size is limited in the machinery.
6. External block brake (shoe drum brake)
1. Working process: under the action of the spring, the brake arm and brake shoe hold the brake drum, and the brake drum is in the braking state. When the brake is released through the current, under the action of electromagnetic force, through the push rod to release the brake shoe on both sides of the brake drum. The brake can also be controlled by hand, hydraulic or air pressure.
2. Classification: normally closed brake and normally open brake two kinds;
3. Features: fast braking and opening, small size, light weight; But the braking impact is large.
4 Application: small braking torque and do not need to start frequently occasions.
