The performance requirements for clutch facings are as follows

Good Friction Performance: It should provide stable frictional force under different speeds and loads to ensure reliable transmission of engine power, enabling the vehicle to start, accelerate, and shift gears smoothly.

Wear Resistance: As the clutch facing frequently contacts and rubs against the flywheel and pressure plate during use, it needs to have excellent wear resistance to withstand long-term use and frequent clutch operations without excessive wear, thereby extending its service life.

Heat Resistance: During the engagement and disengagement of the clutch, a large amount of heat is generated. Therefore, the facing must maintain the stability of its physical and chemical properties at high temperatures to avoid performance degradation, deformation, or damage due to overheating.
