Non-asbestos Truck Brake Lining Key points of manufacturing process

Production Process

Ingredient Mixing: Precisely weigh fibers, resins, fillers and lubricants according to the formula, and mix them thoroughly at high speed.

Hot Press Molding: Mold under high pressure at a temperature of 140–160°C to ensure density and bonding strength.

Heat Treatment (Post-curing): Keep the temperature at 180–200°C for several hours to eliminate internal stress and improve thermal stability.

Grinding and Chamfering: Precision-grind according to vehicle model dimensions, and chamfer the edges to reduce noise and premature wear.

Quality Inspection: Full-process control of friction performance, shear strength, dimensional accuracy and environmental compliance.

Installation and Maintenance

Clean the brake drum and shoe to ensure full contact; rivet or bond in accordance with specifications to avoid uneven wear.

Run in the new brake linings for 200–500 kilometers. Avoid emergency braking during this period, as the friction surfaces will achieve optimal performance after proper bedding-in.

Inspect the lining thickness regularly (replace when worn down to 2–3mm), and check for cracks or oil contamination.
