So it takes several hours to replace the clutch plate, is the replacement method complicated?
It takes about three or four hours to replace the clutch disc. The reason it took so long was that the gearbox had to be lowered to replace the clutch plate. The hanging gearbox can be said to be a big project in the automobile maintenance industry. There are no two or three people who can't handle it completely. Moreover, the removal of the gearbox also requires the removal of all the components that hinder the operation, such as the battery, fuse box and all kinds of cables, etc. around the engine compartment. The workload is still very large.
After the transmission is successfully hoisted down, the engine is hoisted in the engine compartment through the bracket, and the clutch plate can be easily removed at this time. At present, most 4S shops replace the clutch plate with the clutch pressure plate, so it is very convenient to replace. The main time is spent on the gearbox.
