How to replace the clutch disc friction plate?
If the clutch friction plate is seriously worn, the rivet is loose, the surface is cracked or ablated, or the oil is seriously stained, it should be replaced. The process steps are as follows:
①Remove the old friction plate, and then use a dial indicator to measure the runout of the steel plate plane of the driven plate to its axis. The runout in the axial circle with a radius of 120-150mm should not exceed 0.8mm, otherwise it should be corrected.
② Check the rivets of the driven steel sheet and the splicing plate, and re-rivet or replace them if they are loose or broken.
③Check the fit clearance between the keyway of the spline bushing and the spline of the first shaft of the transmission, generally it should not exceed 0.8mm. If the size exceeds the specified range, it should be replaced.
④ The diameter and thickness of the new friction plate to be replaced should meet the requirements. The two friction plates should be replaced at the same time with the same material and the thickness difference shall not exceed 0.50mm. First put the two new friction plates on the steel plate at the same time, align the edges and clamp them firmly, and use a drill bit suitable for the steel plate holes to drill the rivet holes of the friction plates. Countersink holes are then drilled on one side of each lining with a drill bit suitable for the rivet head. Its depth is: the friction plate containing copper wire is 2/3 of the thickness of the friction plate; the friction plate without copper wire is 1/20
⑤ When riveting the friction plate, a special riveting machine can be used, and hand tools can also be used for riveting. The selected rivets should meet the requirements.
⑥The position of the rivet head should be staggered when riveting. After the new friction plate is riveted, the plane should be ground to make it in good contact with the flywheel and the pressure plate.
