Friction coefficient of the friction plate
Friction discs are widely used in life, but we not only look at their shape in the selection, but when the shape is intact, we need to look at a very important reference coefficient - friction coefficient. The coefficient of friction is the ratio of the frictional force between two surfaces to the vertical force acting on one surface.
Since each product has different requirements for the coefficient of friction, the factory will add friction materials according to the technical requirements of the product during production to make it reach the corresponding value. Is the friction coefficient of the brake friction plate a high point or a low point? In fact, if the friction coefficient of the friction plate is too high or too low, it will affect the braking performance of the friction plate: if it is too low, emergency braking is required when the equipment is running at high speed. If the friction coefficient is too low, the braking will be insensitive, which will lengthen the braking time and distance, resulting in accidents; tails and skids, posing a threat to users and equipment.
