causes of friction plate breakage

A tiny friction lining plays an important role in places we rarely pay attention to, but why would a friction lining break? In my opinion, there are two situations in which friction discs break:

2

1. Just after the pressing and grinding are completed, this is because the workers are not filling the friction material evenly and the friction material is not mixed evenly, which will happen. There is also grinding, which is related to work experience and may be general. If you grind too much, then one side will be thinner, and it will be prone to breakage. However, these cases will be singled out as substandard products during inspection, and will not flow into the hands of customers.

2. Broken during equipment operation, there are many reasons for this.

(1) The service life of the friction plate is long and the wear is serious.

(2) The friction plate is stained with corrosive stains

(3) The temperature is higher than the temperature that the friction plate was ordered at that time

(4) The rotational speed is too high, beyond the bearing range of the friction plate

These are the reasons why the friction lining will break during use. This is only a part, and there may be some human factors, so I will not describe them one by one.
