What are the quality requirements of friction materials for resin?
The quality requirements of friction materials for resin are:
Good heat resistance, good thermal decomposition temperature and low thermal weight loss.
The fineness of the powdered resin should be high, generally 100 mesh to 200 mesh, preferably above 200 mesh, which is conducive to the uniformity of dispersion of the mixture and can reduce the amount of resin used in the formula.
The content of free phenol is low, preferably 1% to 3%.
The suitable curing speed is 40s~60s (150°C) and flow distance (120°C 40~80mm).
