The common production method of friction plate - hot pressing
The most commonly used molding method in the production process of friction linings is to shape and solidify the compressed plastic under pressure and heating conditions to obtain friction linings with a specified shape, certain density, hardness and mechanical strength. There are also very few products that are formed at lower pressures and lower temperatures. Each of these process methods has its own characteristics. Some processes are heated and pressurized at the same time in the same equipment, and some are heated and pressurized separately in different equipment.
Hot press molding is to put the pressed plastic (powder, granular, sheet, linear or cloth pressed plastic) into a mold that has been heated to a certain temperature (the commonly used temperature is 155±5℃), and then the mold is closed. , deflate and pressurize, so that the pressed plastic is formed and solidified in the press mold, thereby obtaining various pressed products, such as brake pads, clutch face plates, oil drilling rig brake shoes, train synthetic brake shoes and other molded friction plates. For a long time, the hot pressing molding process has been the most widely used molding and curing process at home and abroad.
