Self-checking the use of brake pads

Brake pads are generally composed of core plates, adhesive insulation layers, and friction pads, which constitute the most critical safety components in our equipment. The general new brake pad is about 1.5cm, of course, there are also heights specified by the customer, but during our use, the brake pad will gradually become thinner, so to what extent the brake pad cannot be used and needs to be replaced? The following will teach you some tips, so that even amateurs can understand whether the brake pads need to be replaced.

First, look at the thickness. The thickness of a new brake pad is about 1.5cm. When we use it to only 1/3 (0.5cm), many brake pads will also be observed by themselves. When the wear reaches that point, everyone should replace it to avoid cause unnecessary losses.

Second, listen to the sound. When we heard a harsh sound when using the brakes, the brake pads at this time have been used for extreme music, because the limit mark of the brake pads has begun to rub against the iron sheet.

Third, feel the strength. When we use the brakes, we feel that the braking effect is not obvious, and when the braking time and distance are prolonged, we should check whether the brake pads need to be replaced.

These are the experiences we have accumulated in our lives, and we still need to check them frequently.
