With the development of the times, the varieties of reinforcing fibers in friction materials are becoming more and more extensive, and the performance requirements of fibers are becoming more and more strict. 2. Good heat resistance, no melting, carbonization and thermal decomposition will occur under friction temperature operation. Because friction material products are in high temperature work for a long time, the general organic fibers cannot withstand such high temperature conditions, so most of the friction materials use inorganic fibers.
3. It has a basic friction coefficient.
4. The hardness should not be too high to avoid braking noise and damage to the brake disc.
5. The process has strong operability.
