Materials and Properties of UTB650 Steel Plates
1. Material Selection
Clutch and brake steel plates: Mostly made of high-quality low-carbon steel (e.g., Grade 08 steel). Their surfaces are treated with galvanization and phosphating for corrosion resistance.
Friction materials: Traditionally asbestos; modern versions are asbestos-free composite materials, featuring high temperature resistance and excellent wear resistance.
Structural steel plates: Adopt medium-carbon steel or alloy steel to ensure sufficient strength and rigidity.

2. Key Properties
Wear resistance: The friction surfaces endure long-term heavy-load friction, with a service life of 500 to 1000 working hours.
Heat resistance: Clutch steel plates operate at temperatures between 200℃ and 300℃ while maintaining stable performance.
Flatness: The flatness tolerance of the steel plate surface shall be within 0.1 mm to guarantee tight fitting.
