Material and Properties

Cast iron material: It is relatively common, with high strength and hardness, capable of withstanding considerable braking force, and relatively low cost. However, it is heavy in weight and has relatively average heat dissipation performance.

Cast steel material: It performs well in terms of strength and toughness, and can adapt to harsher braking environments, but its cost is relatively high.

Aluminum alloy material: Its greatest advantage lies in its light weight, which helps to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle, improve fuel economy and handling performance. Moreover, it has good heat dissipation performance, effectively reducing the impact of heat generated during braking on the braking system. However, its cost is relatively high.
