Brake friction plate
Brake pads are also called brake pads. In the brake system, brake pads are the most critical safety parts, all brake effect is good or bad brake pads play a decisive role, so good brake pads are the protection of people and cars. Brake pads are generally composed of steel plates, adhesive insulation layers and friction blocks, of which the insulation layer is composed of non-heat transfer materials, the purpose is to heat insulation. The friction block is composed of friction materials and adhesives, and is squeezed on the brake disc or brake drum when braking, so as to achieve the purpose of slowing down the vehicle. Due to friction, the friction block will gradually be worn, generally speaking, the lower the cost of brake pads wear faster. After the friction material is used, the brake pads should be replaced in time, otherwise the steel plate and the brake disc will be in direct contact, and eventually the braking effect will be lost and the brake disc will be damaged. The moment of resistance that must be applied to stop or slow down the mechanical moving parts is called the braking moment. Brake torque is the basis of design and selection of brakes, and its size is determined by the type of machinery and working requirements. The performance clock of friction materials (brake parts) used on the brake affects the braking process, and the main factors affecting its performance are operating temperature and temperature rise speed. The friction material should have a high and stable friction coefficient and good wear resistance. Friction materials are divided into metal and non-metal. The former commonly used cast iron, steel, bronze and powder friction materials, the latter leather, rubber, wood and asbestos.
