The brake disc clearance is very small because the rubber ring of the piston seal deforms during braking and moves the piston outward, causing the brake disc to clamp on the disc. When the brake is released, the piston reverses as the rubber returns to its original shape without pressure.
The adjusting mechanism is composed of screw sleeve, screw and dial plate components. The screw comprises a thread part and a fixed part, the screw sleeve comprises an internal thread part and a fixed part, and the screw thread part can be inserted into the internal thread part of the screw sleeve. The control mechanism of the dial plate assembly is transferred to the dial plate assembly through the brake or handbrake adjustment mechanism, and the running part of the inner thread accurately records the wear amount of the brake shoe in the braking process. So as to realize the automatic adjustment of brake clearance.
When stepping on the brake pedal, the piston in the brake pump naturally extends outward, making the brake pad contact with the brake disc, so as to achieve the braking of the vehicle. When you release the brake pedal, the piston in the brake pump naturally retract inward, unless the piston rust will appear dead.
