Brake band material type
Structural Composition
A brake band consists of a brake steel strip and a brake lining strip. One end is supported on a bracket fixedly connected to the transmission case,
and the other end is connected to the servo device.
Material Types
Asbestos type: Once common, it has good friction performance and certain heat resistance, enabling stable operation under general working conditions.
"Semi-metallic" composite type: Improved on the basis of the asbestos type, it incorporates more metal components, offering better friction stability at high temperatures and more excellent braking effect.
Non-asbestos organic type (NAO): A new type of material developed with the rise of environmental protection concepts, featuring superior performance and eco-friendliness.
