Analysis of organic binders
In our friction plate, no matter how the friction material changes, there is always one material, that is organic binder, and it is one of the main components in the friction material. Today we will talk about this organic binder.
There are mainly two types of organic binders: resin and rubber. Its function is to uniformly bond all kinds of fibers, fillers and auxiliary materials in the friction material in the form of a bonding film, forming a compact structure with considerable strength and Friction plates that can meet the performance requirements of friction materials.
Organic bonding constitutes the core component of Le friction material, and the dosage usually accounts for 8%-25% of the material. The resin is the main component of the organic binder, and the rubber is the auxiliary component, but for semi-hard and soft friction materials, the amount of rubber will exceed the content of resin.
For the organic binder in the friction plate, its heat resistance is very important. When the equipment is running, the temperature of the friction plate can be as high as 200-400 ℃. At this time, other friction materials may not reach the temperature of thermal decomposition. However, the resin and rubber have reached the temperature of thermal decomposition, and the various indicators of the friction plate will have adverse changes at this time. Therefore, the selection and ratio of friction materials must be well controlled.
