Introduction for diaphragm spring
The diaphragm spring clutch is a disc spring with a special structure made of spring steel, mainly composed of a disc spring portion and a separating finger portion.
The diaphragm spring clutch has an ideal nonlinear elastic characteristic, and the spring pressure remains substantially unchanged within the allowable wear range of the friction plate.
The diaphragm spring clutch also functions as a separating lever of the pressing spring. The structure is simple and compact, the axial dimension is small, the number of parts is small, and the quality is small.
When rotating at high speed, the spring pressing force is reduced little and the performance is relatively stable; while the cylindrical coil spring pressing force is obviously reduced.
The diaphragm spring is in contact with the pressure plate through the entire circumference, and the pressure distribution is uniform, the friction plate is in good contact, and the wear is uniform.
